It’s here!!  We are thrilled to unveil the Expression of Hope III online gallery. All of the 168 artwork submissions, including the 25 exhibit selections, can now be viewed on the Expression of Hope website.

“This program transcends the barriers of age, gender, artistic ability and geography,” said Maura Beverly, Genzyme’s Corporate Brand Manager and Project Manager of Expression of Hope III. “It gives everyone impacted by an LSD the opportunity to raise awareness of these rare genetic diseases and to tell their own unique story through art.”

The 25 pieces of artwork selected as this year’s Featured Artwork was selected by a panel of art professionals from the Massachusetts area, including Lesley University’s Expressive Therapies program, the DeCordova Art Museum, Massachusetts College of Art and the Rocky Neck Arts Colony. The Featured Artwork will travel around the world over the coming year to patient meetings and conferences. Genzyme issued a a press release earlier today with more information about the exhibit.

Genzyme first launched the Expression of Hope program in 2006, followed by Expression of Hope II in 2009. This year, the global community responded once again with enthusiasm, creativity and insight, submitting artwork in the forms of paintings, etchings, mixed media, and photographs.

Thank you to all of the artists that participated in this program, and to the many patient organizations for their support and collaboration. We continue to be inspired by you and moved by the incredible spirit of the LSD community around the world.
